Gallardo vs. Deer, Not My Cup of Tea
By Ryan Porter
IN-N-OUT Editor
I never thought I would see a Gallardo vs deer run-in. Apparently the deer either didn’t see this speeding bull or it thought it was a hunter and wanted to get some revenge! According to BADCOPNODONUTS! this same owner had a run-in with a deer in his Lexus IS-F a few weeks earlier. Talk about pouring salt on the game!

Lambo Wrecks and Breaks in Half in Fort Worth, Texas
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Pretty nasty wreck in Texas this weekend. Apparently the driver of this Gallardo lost control in the rain and slammed into a tree. Half the car continued some ways down the street. Somehow, no one was killed, though someone lost a foot. Two more pics after the jump, and you can see the rest over at Jalopnik.

Lambo Crashes And Burns: Wreckage Video Shows Almost Nothing Left
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
I don’t know if it’s a full moon or what, but the spate of exotic car wrecks that took place over the Labor Day weekend continues with yet another fatality. This one happened on Saturday when a 30-year-old guy in California drove a lime-green Murcielago through a guardrail and flew off a freeway, landing on a parking structure below and bursting into flames. The extremely sad post-wreck video below shows how absolutely the Lambo was destroyed. More details at Edmunds.

Gumball Lambo Driver Blamed For Scary Rollover Wreck
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
As the Gumball rally blasted through California on the I5 this week, a Ford Excursion towing a camper trailer got squirrelly, jack-knifed, and (reportedly) flipped over—and the driver of a black Lamborghini was blamed for causing the accident. Looking over the grainy footage shot by another Gumball participant, it’s really hard to see how or when there was any interaction between a Lambo and the Excursion. One possibility is that the Lambo, which may or may not be one of the black dots in the second-from-the-right lane (not the car directly in front of the shooter), spooked the Excursion driver by appearing alongside him. Perhaps the driver went to change out of the far-right lane, saw the Lambo suddenly there, and got startled. But would that make it the Lambo’s fault? Maybe there’s a clause somewhere stating that when a Lamborghini is within a half-mile of any rollover wreck on any public road, its driver is automatically at fault. See for yourself!

SoundDomain Sound-Off
By Sean
Mobile Electronics Editor
- I took my first driver’s license test over 15 years ago and I still remember every gruesome minute. I actually did fairly well, but I did lose points for driving too cautious and slow! Boy have I proved them wrong since then! And so did the kid in this video. Johnny punked five driving instructors by taking them for one of the worst drives of their life!
- This wouldn’t be a proper SoundDomain Sound-Off without a mention of the Master of Bass, Steve Meade. Watch him school a few new victims in the science of SPL.
- Photoshop FAIL! Looks like this big box retailer needs to send their Photoshop pros back to school or at least hire their car audio installers to build an actual custom install for their Sunday circular ad….
- There’s no better place to live than the good ‘ol USA. Unless you want these sweet Harman Kardon amplifiers in your car.
- Team SoundDomain’s Robert Petty looked at many different radios closely before deciding on the Alpine IVA-W205 for his SQ competition car, and here’s why. Hop over to SoundDomain for a break down on this impressive multimedia navigation-capable radio.
- JVC and Danny Klein (Yep the same Lotus Exige S-driving Danny Klein from Bull Run glory) put together a pretty steamy music video to celebrate some of the cool features in the new JVC Kameleon source units. Wow.
- Yep, you can hate me too. I got to drive Lambos. But day before I was working on my GTI project car and made some solid progress in the hatch area. What’d you do this weekend?

Lamborghini Monday: Getting A Feel For the Gallardo
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
Ok, I ain’t gonna lie: for me, one of the biggest attractions of Lamborghini Monday was getting my Escort out on the open highway to break in my new carb. To meet our shiny new test cars, we drove to Snoqualmie, up in the mountains about a half-hour outside of Seattle. And it wasn’t long before I found there were plenty of other diversions besides Mr. Weber. More…

Sneak Peak at Batman's Lambo
By John Coyle
Editor
Batman Begins was one of my favorite movies of 2005, and I’m super pumped about the Dark Knight. Just look how awesome Heath Ledgerrest in peacelooks as the Joker! While no actual photos of Batman’s new Lambo have surfaced yet, the toy has been released, and it seems pretty sick. The car appears to be a wildly modded Murcielago, and should look awesome on the big screen. Check out the video below for more info.

This Just In: New on the Net
By John Coyle

I guess I’ve just been asleep at the wheelor not watching enough TVbut I had no idea one of my favorite songwriters is doing music for Volvo. Stephin Merritt is the uber-genius behind the Magnetic Fields, and he sings an interpretation of "Wheels on the Bus" in this ad for the XC. While there are plenty of idiots out there howling about how terrible this is, personally, I like it when musicians make money. Here’s the news:
- Due to mounting debts, the Pininfarina family could lose control of the design house which bears their name. Now, I acknowledge that even really rich people can go broke, but I still can’t say I understand it. Any way you cut it, this is sad. World Car Fans
- The credit crunch happening across the country is starting to have an effect on classic car prices. Of course, whether this is tragic or great depends on whether you want to buy or sell. Winding Road
- A fire at a Chrysler plant in Ontario has temporarily stopped production. Ok, first a fire at Porsche, and now this? Wow. It’s only a matter of time before the Ferrari and Lambo factories go off like Roman candles. Automotive News
- The American Family Association has ended its boycott of Ford. But don’t worry, I’m sure the group will find another way to promote its agenda of intolerance and bigotry. Detroit News

Killer Pics from the SECC's Cars and Coffee
By John
Editor
As you’d expect, the members of the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club have some pretty tight rides. Just check out these awesome pics from Saturday’s meet! Ace photographer Patrick Ernzen hooked us up with all these gorgeous shots, and while he said turnout wasn’t great, the field is still pretty impressive. Since I’m completely in love with the Ariel Atomevery single piece on that puppy mattersI was stoked to see all the pics of this blue one, and this Gallardo completely reinforced why I feel Lamborghini orange is the world’s most beautiful color. Check out the rest of Patrick’s handiwork over in our events section!
