Two Lamborghini Fires On I-95

By Michael Berenis

Tampa Sports Car Examiner

This is burning money, defined. Not one, but two fires have been reported on I-95 that involve a Lamborghini in the past few months. Is there something to this trend we should know about? Maybe there is a heard of pyro-gnomes with a vendetta towards the Italian manufacturer. Yep, that’s it. Read more at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Video of Fiery Lambo Crash in the Czech Republic

By John Coyle

Deputy Editor

I posted about the aftermath of this horrendous crash yesterday, but that footage didn’t show the actual wreck. When it hits the wall, this Gallardo goes up like a Roman Candle. Be warned: the still images at the end of the clip are graphic.

Every time I think I’m cool, I think of Valentino Balboni, and I remember that I’m really not that cool. What a bad ass.

What’s up with spinning out after every run? Still, Richard Holt’s Underground Racing Gallardo is pretty damn impressive, running 250.1 MPH in the standing mile. But check out the Ford GT that went 266.93 MPH after the jump!

Exotics at Redmond Town Center: Bringing Cars and Families Together On Sunny Saturdays

By Sam Barer

Sound Classics

I can count the number of Lamborghinis I saw driving on the road in Washington State in the 1970s and 1980s on one hand. Hell, I can count this on one finger–which represents the time in 1988 when I followed a red Countach up Clyde Hill in my 1977 Chrysler LeBaron.

But now, with Exotics At Redmond Town Center, at 8:30 AM on any given non-raining Saturday any of us can see more Lamborghinis in one day than I did in twenty years. The same goes for Ferraris, Maseratis, Lotuses, and other high end vehicles. Read on…

Parking On The Street Is Bad

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

I learned my lesson about street parking after some idiot ineptly parallel-parking his rented moving truck hit my Escort GT. Then a buddy of mine’s car got accordioned while parked overnight by a kid joyriding in his parents’ Suburban, and my sister’s mint ’82 Bonneville was totaled by a drunk-driving scumbag while she had the car legally pulled over at the curb. But as it turns out, even if you drive a car that’s the color and shape of traffic cone, leave it on the street and some moron is going to figure out a way to plow into it. Poor Lambo. More pics below the jump, via WreckedExotics.
