While I’ve always assumed that Lamborghini’s—like crack or illicit substances—sold themselves. But apparently, that didn’t stop the company from commissioning this spot showing off the lines of its new Gallardo LP560/4. It’s a little artsy, and I doubt that it’ll ever be broadcast, but it’s still entertaining. Enjoy. via CarScoop

Ok, so this one wasn’t even close. The Saleen won by a 2-to-1 margin. Lambos haven’t been doing too well in our Showroom Showdown. The last Lambo got smoked by a Ferrari. Oh well, maybe next time…

The two coolest mid-engine exotics at the New York Auto Show last week were the Saleen Raptor and the Lamborghini LP560-4. The Saleen’s supercharged 5.0 produces 650 hp, while the Lambo’s 5.2 liter V10 makes a measly 560 hp. Saleen has not yet committed to building the Raptor, but if they did, which would you choose?

At the Geneva Motor Show, you can’t throw a rock without hitting some excruciatingly expensive exotic, so if you go, don’t throw rocks. Right now, our buddies from Road & Track are across the pond covering it, and from the looks of these photos, they’re having a blast. They sent us sick shots of all the hottest stuff on the floor—like the KTM X-Bow Dallara Edition pictured below—and they’re making editorial wish we weren’t stuck at CarDomain World Headquarters. The official unveiling of Lamborghini’s LP560/4 isn’t until tomorrow, but high quality pics are already circulating. Hey, if Lambo’s brass really wanted to keep this baby a secret, they’d have put a cover on it!  The next-gen Gallardo will come with a new 5.2-liter V10, and while exterior tweaks are minor, in my humble opinion, it looks wicked.
