Ultra-Clean M3 on Craigslist

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

Good old CL is known for it beaters and fantastic low-buck finds, but since it’s become the classifieds-of-choice for enthusiasts, we’ve been seeing some pretty nice stuff turn up there as well. Check out this gorgeous built M3 for $32K OBO. I don’t follow Euros all that much, but it seems to me that a car like this would normally fetch a much higher price. Are these cars really that far in the toilet right now? Thanks to missourifornian for the tip!

640+ Horsepower E92 BMW M3

By Brooks Weisblat

DragTimes.com

This is probably the most powerful, quickest and fastest current generation BMW M3 around making close to 650HP and running 11.4 @ 131.6 MPH in the 1/4 mile. Drew added quite a a few extensive changes to make this M3 move so fast, including a Gintani Supercharger, meth injection, full exhaust along with other supporting performance modifications.

While the trap speeds and power output numbers are impressive, it looks like this M3 has some real issues getting off the line, even with drag radials it still only manages a 2.06 60′ time. Drew needs to get his M3′s DCT launch control working if he want’s to keep up with all of the modded Nissan GT-Rs and Porsche 997 PDKs running around that destroy just about anything off the line with ease.

Unlikely Comparo: BMW M3 vs. Ford Mustang GT

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

A bizarre comparison has been making the rounds, sparked by the disconcertingly similar numbers of new M3 and Mustang GT. Now I’m sure the experience of driving these cars is like night and day. But, at least in terms of their raw vital stats, these cars are virtually identical on everything except price. So the obvious question is, which would you choose? And if you went with the Mustang, what would you do with the nearly $30K left over?

M3 Bucks Out Dumb-Ass Driver!

By John Coyle

Deputy Editor

If you’ve got plenty of room, pulling some donuts is a fairly safe form of hooliganism. But if you attempt this rite of passage without your seat belt on and are dumb enough to leave the driver’s door open, you’re totally begging for trouble. This dude is super-lucky he didn’t run himself over…
