Mad Max Interceptor Replica
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
This supercharged Interceptor replica is totally for the Road Warriors. The only thing it’s missing is Mel Gibson, and frankly I wouldn’t trust him behind the wheel of a golf cart let alone this beauty. Read more about the replica at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Fireball heads to CBS for MOVIE CARS!
By Fireball Tim

Wow, what a cool day of shenanagans. (Is that spelled right? Like, does it matter?)
It’s pretty wild and fun to see a movie car at a show, but to see 30 of them at once was over the top! Way early, I headed to CVS to pick up my ride (The Fast & Furious Charger) and join up with several guys there. My buddy Bob brought in his original TV Series General Lee, Frank in the F&F Hot Rod Truck and a Tango & Cash beast.
We hung out all day at CBS with the likes of Adam Carola, Autoweek supereditor Mark Vaughn, KABC’s Dave Kunz and even Sophia Loren! Yes, she digs cars. (And no, I didn’t take a picture with her, but shot our new episode.) That will premiere at the end of the month. But, big thanks to Ken Latka and Tim Wong of TMPCC for hosting and Nate from Star Car Central for bringing the bad boys of movie cars. So, nuf’ of the wurds… On with the show…

The Most Badass Movie Car Ever!
By Mike Musto
RideLust.com
Last night as I was skimming through the channels I came upon what is perhaps the most badass movie car ever to grace the big screen. It was made in 1973, had zoomies for exhaust pipes and a big honkin’ Weiand blower that helped this beast pump out 600 horsepower. You see Mad Max was on, not the Road Warrior mind you, but the original movie that started it all. I first saw this post-apocalyptic import when I was about 8 years old and I’ll never forget it. The phrase: “Last of the V8 Interceptors”, is a line that refers to one car only, this being the 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT of one Max Rockatansky. This was the car that Max used to get his revenge on the psychotic biker gang that mowed down his family and the one that he later used to scour the Australian wasteland in search of fuel.

Mad About Mad Max
By Ron Honig
WaytooFurious
People have told me that I am obsessive about my hobby. It’s easy to see why, I own three cars and the majority of my time is spent pursuing car related activities. However there are some people that really know how to take their hobby to the next level. One of these is Adrian Bennett from England. Adrian is such a huge fan of the Mad Max movies that he has moved his family half way around the world from England to Silverton in Australia where he is going to open a Mad Max museum. A panel beater by trade, Adrian was more than happy to ship his Mad Max interceptor to Australia. Get the full story here.

The Top 10 Movie Chase Franchises
By Fireball Tim

Now, to come up with a top ten ain’t easy. But as a franchise, there’s only so many. So here’s the best of the best according to this Fireballed opinion. See these one after the other, and in that way, you get to get as totally sick as possible… leading to taking the next day off from work …and watch the next franchise. (See how I just figured that out? I’m just so cool that way.)
What was I saying? …Oh, yea. Bar none, the best Action Genoirs of our time. Is Genoir a word? No. But I don’t care, so here we go…
NUMBER 10 – ITALIAN JOBBERS
Minis on a Mission. Fun to watch, (not so much Walberg). They used 90 MINIs in this film to catch all that action. And screwed up all 90. Yea, nice.

Mad Max Interceptor on eBay
By Ron Honig
WaytooFurious
I love looking for unusual cars on eBay, and I was rewarded today when I came across this Mad Max Interceptor. Currently located in Roselle, IL, this replica was built in Australia by Mad Max unlimited. I think this is great because I am a huge fan of the original Mad Max movie. How many of these would you see at car shows? However don’t be fooled by the sellers claim that these XB Ford Falcons are now very rare. Sure there are not as many on the roads as there used to be, but if you want one they are easy enough to find. There are two in my small neighborhood that act as daily drivers!
