ShowLow Featured in the SEMA Mothers Booth

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Front and center in the Mothers booth is their 2007 Shine Award winner, a 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air bubble top built by Dennis McClendon, Rich Thayer, Bryan Butler and Denny John.

With over 100 body modifications, this chopped, stretched, cut and wedged Chevy features a 409 bored & stroked to 484 CI with a one-off vintage Algon fuel injection mated to a Richmond 6-speed and a Currie rear with 4.10:1 gears. The low-slung tube chassis has Air Ride suspension, Morrison spindles and A-arms, Baer brakes, 19” and 20” Colorado Custom Wheels with Pirelli tires.

Photos don’t do this car justice, but I have a bunch more after the jump.
