NYIAS: The 2010 Subaru Outback

Making the world debut at the New York International Auto Show is the 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon. It has been reported that Subaru is one of the brands that is actually gaining market share within North America, and Subaru has taken great pains to point out the the North American market is their most important one. I took my new Subaru in for the emission test. Man, all this computer stuff has really taken the fun out of emission testing. I used to get a real thrill out of trying to get my old Mopars to pass in California.

My Outback Is Finally Here

Just got me new daily driver/family hauler! A 2002 Subaru Outback. Gotta keep up with the Joneses in Seattle–now I’m gonna see myself coming and going. Took me a surprisingly long time to find a properly maintained, one-owner, low mile car that hadn’t been in a wreck. Seriously, looking for old Mopars is easier. Anyway, I finally found one down in Nor Cal. This is the first time I’ve had a car newer than 15 years old, and the first time I’ve had keyless entry, airbags, and a working AC. Woo hoo! Here’s a video of it being backed off the trailer across the street from CarDomain World Headquarters by Mike of California Missile Racing, who was on his way up to Canada to pick up a new race car.
