By Rob

Yesterday I posted about the Pantera that will be in the Group Fve booth at SEMA. Well, turns out that there is going to be another badass Pantera in the Cobra Seats/Sube Sports booth. This one will be a slightly more conservative restomod, painted a beautiful Maserati Anthracite Gray. I can’t find any pics online so you’ll just have to wait til Monday.

Group Five Pantera

Here’s a car I’m looking forward to seeing at SEMA: a 1972 Pantera built by Group Five. Group Five bonded the Kevlar composite fender flares to the steel body using Evercoat adhesive. The car has a carbon fiber hood and real spoiler, and is powered by an old school 351 Cleveland. And of course it comes with a reworked suspension and big wheels and tires. Stay tuned for photos of this bad boy next week.

Awesome Pantera Ride Page

I love the idea of having an Italian sports car, but I have to admit the potential maintenance costs scare the living hell out of me. Even people who can afford these cars are scared of the 15,000 mile service—which is why there are so many Ferraris for sale that have just a hair under 15,000 miles on the clock! So I guess that’s why I think Panteras are so cool. They come with all the sexy Italian bodywork—and a sturdy Ford power plant. Check out this killer Pantera page.
