Last week’s Paris Motor Show was just another brutal reminder of all the cool cars we don’t get over here. Like the Euro Ford Focus RS below. That car is cool. We’re stuck with the boring US version. How about the Renault Megane with the crazy huge rear diffuser? We don’t get it. Same goes for the Alfa Romeo Brera TI, Fiat 500 Abarth and Volkswagen Scirocco. Only a very small section of Aston Martin’s limited-edition One 77 was on display in Paris last week, but this promotional video leaves a little less to the imagination. Now, I think multi-million dollar cars are kind of silly, but I still think this baby looks gorgeous. And with a 700 horsepower V12 under the hood, it should be a blast to drive.

Even though I love—LOVE—Lamborghinis, I’m not sure about the Estoque. Ryan thinks it’s beyond hideous, and I have to say, the lines haven’t even exactly won me over. More to the point, I’m just plain conflicted about one of my favorite supercar builders releasing a sedan. But Lamborghini honcho Stefan Winkelmann is obviously pretty stoked about the concept. Hybrids are hot in Paris this year. Our buddies at Road & Track took a closer look at some of the concepts unveiled at the show, from the mild Honda Insight Concept to the wild Peugeot RC Concept pictured below (photo by John Lamm). While I’m not going to be forking over any deposit money just yet, Veturi says its hyper-futuristic Volage Concept will see production in 2012. The chassis and bodywork will be constructed from carbon-fiber, and it will be powered by small electric motors inside each wheel. Pretty trick, no? More over at Jalopnik.

Since the Elise and the Exige are so dead sexy, I had high hopes for the company’s new 2+2, the Evora. But unfortunately, it looked a lot better when it was code-named Eagle and buried under boxy camo. Of course, the backseat doesn’t exactly look functional either—at least for people with legs.
