The it turns out, was an extremely rare option package offered by Ford dealers on the Pinto. It included this distincitve nosecone and pop-up headlights, a beefed-up suspension, and a turbocharged, Weber-carbed, OHC 2.3L. Brad owns one of the five intact Pangra Pintos known to exist, and he even let Hemmings road-test it a few years back. Until I saw this video, I had no idea what a Pinto Pangra was. But like it has so many times before, content on CarDomain has opened my eyes. Along with a turbo, this potent package included a sexy fiberglass slant-nose, Koni shocks, sway bars and Recaro seats.
