Finally, A Cool Pace Car
By Jen Dunnaway

It seems like we’ve had a few weeks of rental-car sedans and hybrids as pace cars (no offense, Toyota Camry hybrid), so it’s cool to see that Pocono Raceway is going to be running the safety lights on this bright white Camaro SS here at this weekend. It seemed like there were Camaros at every race for awhile in there, but I guess they seem to have gotten more sparse now that the novelty has worn off. It’s going to be cool to see a Camaro out leading the pack once again!

We’re Headed For Pocono
By Jen Dunnaway

Pennsylvania’s “tricky triangle” is one of the weirdest tracks in NASCAR, and the one where I saw my first Sprint Cup race, so it’s got a special place in my heart. And this weekend, I’m headed back there along with Chris to check out the ARCA and Sprint Cup races! It’s going to be a blast, and all weekend long we’re going to be filling an otherwise-empty weekend blog with pics and tales from the track. Hope to see you there.

Tony Stewart Seals The Deal at Pocono
By Jen Dunnaway

I love Pocono because it’s the site of the first NASCAR event I ever watched in person. But on Sunday, there was a lot less rain than I remembered, and the Sprint Cup race at the huge sweeping triangle in the Pennsylvania mountains did not disappoint. Congrats to Tony Stewart on his first Sprint Cup win as owner/driver of his No. 14 Chevrolet! Check out pics from Pocono, as well as from Saturday’s Nationwide race at Nashville, below the jump.

Tracking an Acura TL: Comfy, Fast and Fun
By Mike Musto

Track driving—if you’ve never experienced it, you simply have no idea what you’re missing out on. This past Saturday I had a track event at Pocono Raceway doing some instructing. My student was my buddy Brian in his girlfriend’s 2006 Acura TL. About a month earlier he had expressed interest in hitting the track and asked if I could help out. Obviously the answer was yes, as I live for track days. He was concerned, however, about the car, that being the aforementioned Acura. In all honesty, I was pretty curious myself as to how Acura’s sporty four-door would run.
