Lahore Police Tow Technique
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
In the land of Lahore, police use their own legs as a tow medium to push a disabled vehicle to rescue. Officer T. Reestumps did a great job at rescuing the stranded vehicle and should be rewarded for putting in the legwork. If there happened to be an abrupt stop, (imagination goes here). Read more about the Lahore PD towing at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Rent-A-Cop Vs. Burnout Bandit
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
Using the 5.0 version of the Fox body Mercury Capri, the burnout bandit quickly meets his demise as an over authoritative rent-a-cop shuts down his tire roasting escapade. I would have loved to see the expression on the pseudo police officer’s face when he caught this guy ripping up his pristine parking lot. Read more about the treachery at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Draw Your Accident Online
Atomicalex
Bad things happen, and you get in an accident. You need to draw a picture of it to help your case, but you have zero skills with a pen and paper. Enter the internet, specifically accidentsketch.com. This tool helps you get the facts on paper (screen?) so you can plead your case with Johnny Law. It’s fairly easy to use and produces good quality drawings. What are you waiting for?

New Taurus Cop Car
By David Clarke
highspeedhijinks
For the last several decades the Ford Crown Victoria has ruled the roost when it came to police-issued transportation. The only thing more antiquated than the 33-year-old “Panther” chassis it ran on might be the horses used by mounted police. So needless to say, this platform was long overdue for an upgrade. With more powerful and fuel-friendly competition out there already in the from of the Dodge Charger and Chevrolet Impala, Ford found it necessary to bring out their big new shiny gun: as of 2012, the Taurus will be the vehicle of choice for Ford’s Police Interceptor program. The base model police package will use the 3.5L v6 that puts out a respectable 263hp and 250lbft of torque. The pursuit vehicle, on the other hand, will be rocking all-wheel drive and the 365hp twin-turbo Eco Boost 3.5 found in the SHO. Beefed-up brakes, a recalibrated stability control system, and doors that swing 10 degrees wider are just a few of the amenities Ford included to make the Taurus more police friendly. See more pics below the jump.

Tough Camaro Cop Car
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
There’ve been 2010 Camaro police car concepts and renderings circulating around pretty much as long as there’s been 2010 Camaros, but this is apparently the first sighting of a marked and legitimate one in the wild. Rather than just slap on the usual lightbars and decals, the Haltom City Police Department in Texas treated themselves to a custom build by Classic Chevrolet for their new Camaro SS patrol car, with subtly-integrated LED lighting throughout, including the stealth row of blues behind the grille. Seems a little decadent, but I guess there’s worse ways to dispose of taxpayers’ dollars! See more at Jalopnik.
