I don’t know what’s more awesome, the Batram, or Carl’s Vanishing Point Challenger.

Ram Truck Cut-Away

By Katherine Helmetag

I love it when manufacturers cut away entire vehicles. This Ram was on display at the NAIAS this year. Two detail shots after the jump.

Noktastrophe

By Jen Dunnaway

Hehe… I’m just going to leave this one alone. The last time we got between a couple of Cali car clubs by making fun of their SEMA rides, we ended up having to shut down the comments and start banning fools. People’s moms got involved. There were a lot of caps. It wasn’t pretty. So I’ll just let the pics speak for themselves. Hey, for what it is, it’s actually really impressive–I thought the captain’s chairs were an especially nice touch. Enjoy!

SEMA Preview: Four Mopar Concepts

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Ok, I know I’m biased, but I think Mopar always has the best OEM booth at SEMA. And it looks like this year will not disappoint, despite the whole bankruptcy thing. Just check out this Wrangler “Lower Forty” with its 40-inch tires! Badass! Apparently there is no suspension or body lift on this Rubicon. But the fender flares are four inches higher and an inch wider. I really dig the chopped, integrated roll cage.Three more concepts after the jump, and you can read more about these vehicles over at Autoblog

Chrysler to Spin Off Ram as a Fourth Brand?

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Allpar is reporting that Chrysler is considering launching Ram as a fourth brand to be used for trucks only. Dodge would then be reserved for cars, which would be more closely associated with Fiat-based vehicles. This makes absolutely no sense to me, but whatever. I just hope they don’t kill off the Challenger.

CarDomain Member's Ride in Truckin' Magazine

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

Rob photographed this incredible bagged Dodge Ram at last year’s SEMA show, but it was only just last week that we noticed it was on CarDomain! The owner, Tony, has been busy since last time we saw this ride–it’s been featured all over the place, and will enjoy a six-page feature spread in the next issue of Truckin’ magazine. Congrats, man!

Ultra Clean 318s

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

New CarDomain member Piper is totally on the right track: with her learner’s permit in hand, she went and bought this lifted 4WD Dodge Ram pickup the day she turned 15. She’s since acquired a nice Grand Wagoneer as well. Both trucks are running death-proof 318 V8′s, and both are in really nice shape inside and out. Check out Piper’s ride pages and drop her a welcome!
