Camaro Reventon
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
It takes a lot to shock me after working at CarDomain for four years, but this 1994 Camaro on eBay blew me away. Sadly the pics aren’t too big or too great, but I’ve got tons more after the jump!

A Visual Study of the Reventon
By Speedhunters
Car Culture At Large
While I was at the Lamborghini Museum the other week, I got rather transfixed by the Reventon… I have never, ever seen a car which works with light and surface the way this design does (those of you who’ve seen the Reventon in person will know what I’m talking about). So I thought I’d shoot a group of photos which allows you to experience this car in some fashion too. It’s really worth a closer look. Continue reading at Speedhunters

SEMA 2008: Lamborghini Reventon in the Pirelli Booth
By John Coyle

Obviously, I’ve seen pics of Lambo’s uber-rare, million dollar supercar before, but I was still excited to see one in person. The only thing that sucked? The Pirelli folks had it surrounded by obnoxious, picture-ruining barriers. And while I understand that this is a pricey car and everything, SEMA is hardly a K-Mart parking lot. All the folks on the floor are respectful, and know better than to rub their grubby mitts all over the show cars. But that said, I absolutely loved the lines of this Italian Stallion—it really couldn’t look more different the Murcialago it’s based on—and I think I actually managed to get some good shots. Check them out after the jump.

Lamborghini Reventon on eBay
By Danny
aka Dboy23
One of only 20 ever made, this Lamborghini Reventon has enjoyed some pretty steep appreciation—or so the seller thinks. With an original sticker price of "only" $1.6 million, they’ve got it listed with a Buy It Now of $2.5M. Sounds steep, but with the original production run long over, and most of the initial buyers hanging onto these cars, the seller just might hit the jackpot after all. Check out the auction.

This Lambo is Really Flying!
By John Coyle
Editor
Lambo just hosted a conference—called "Lamborghini and speed: A project in record time"—to highlight how quickly the company managed to produce the hyper-performing Reventon. At the end of the festivities, one of the raging bulls was delivered to the roof of Turin’s famous Lingotto building via military helicopter, which made for a pretty dramatic photo op. The really funny thing? With a price tag of a million Euros, this is probably one of the few times the supercar will be anywhere near a more expensive vehicle. Lamborghini via CarScoop.

This Just In: New on the Net
By John Coyle
Editor
This morning, I hopped on my bike and discovered I had a flat. What a perfect way to start the week. Hopefully your day began better than mine. Anyway, here’s the news:
- The shots of fancy electronics being unboxed are pretty stand on the web. But this is easily the coolest of these sequences I’ve seen. God, is Lambo’s Reventon sexy or what? Fresh Tarmac via Autoblog
- Ian Taylor was pretty pissed when the meter maids booted a car parked in front of his house, so instead of paying to have it removed, he just cut the car in half. Makes sense to me. BBC via Jalopnik
- Camp Car filed for bankruptcy back in March, and as part of the deal, the organization is auctioning off its assets. If you’ve ever wanted to pick up a pace car or racing memorabilia, this is a great opportunity. AutoWeek
- Lamborghini has chosen Los Angeles to be the base of its North American operations. Given that the 1/3 of its US sales are made in the Golden State, this seems like a no-brainer. Winding Road

Lambo From Cigarette Packs!
By John
Editor
While these papercraft Yamahas are pretty impressive, this Lamborghini Reventon model is in a completely different league. The mad genius behind this baby didn’t use any detailed plans, just some pics of the car, a whole bunch of empty cigarette boxes and, apparently, an incredible amount of time. And they say nothing constructive ever comes from smoking! Check out more pics after the jump. Club Sohu via Jalopnik

Lambo Ramping up Reventon Production
By Jen
Editor
Remember David’s recent blog on the Reventon, Lamborghini’s latest ridiculously exclusive supercar, only 20 of which are going to be produced? It might not be too late to get your hands on one after all. Due to popular demand, I guess, Lambo is rumored to be rounding up to a nice, even hundred cars for the Reventon’s total production run. Even better, Putnam Leasing will even let you finance the $1.5 million ride, provided you can come up with the $300,000 down payment and just $14,869 a month. Pocket change, right? I can’t wait to see what your insurance premiums will look like.

Reventon: The Baddest Lambo To Date
By David
AKA Highspeedhijinks
The latest ride to be built on Lamborghini’s Murcielago platform is known as the Reventon, and for its first performance since its unveiling at the Frankfurt Auto Show, Lamborghini wasn’t about to put it up against just any competition. They decided to challenge an A-200A fighter jet from the Italian Air Force to a 1.86-mile drag race just to prove that this new Lambo means business. The designers at Lamborghini in fact drew their inspiration from aircraft, resulting in some of the sickest bodywork to come out of the old Italian tractor maker yet: the Reventon is all matte silver finish and angular contours, giving it a very convincing aeronautical aesthetic. The stats for this car are typical supercar numbers: a 6.5L V-12 puts out 650hp and 487lbft of torque, which can rocket the car to 60 in 3.4 seconds, and tops out at around 211 mph. You know: typical. If you need to know how much one costs, you probably can’t afford it. If you can afford it but want to know where to get one, I’m sure you’ve missed your chance: Lambo will only produce 20 Reventons for public consumption, and all are spoken for.
