Formula D Pics Live!

By John Coyle

While Tanner Foust took first in the latest Formula D race, in my opinion, his ride just isn’t as cool as Samuel Hubinette’s evil Mopar. Formula D is Coming to Seattle!

By John Coyle

Editor

Actually, it’s coming to Monroe, which at 35 minutes from downtown, is close enough. Now, Formula D is always a blast, and obviously, the editorial staff is pretty stoked that we’re going to get to go a cool event without having to spend an entire day on an airplane. This round is the Breaking Point, which seems appropriate since Evergreen Speedway is one of the fastest circuits in the series, and the potential for carnage is super-high. Head over to the official Formula D website for the current standings, and make sure to check out all the pics from the season’s previous stops, the Streets of Long Beach, Feel the Heat, the Gauntlet, and High Stakes.

From the way he looked coming crossing the finish line, it’s clear that the car was running perfectly. Check out this clip of him taking the checkered—doesn’t he look a little close to the edge?—and don’t miss him talking to me about the win below. Five pics of the Solstice after the jump.
