On eBay: Chevy Express Van, Russian Mobster Style
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
What does it take to get an Express Van to sell for $100K in Moscow? I’m not sure. But at that price, this KronKraft coach had better be bulletproof too. The interior is pretty cool though. Check out the auction on eBay!

Russian Sandwich Wreck: WTF?
Tampa Sports Car Examiner
Driving in Russia can be a tough task, especially when the cream filling is you. In the following clip, a sandwich results when a little white vehicle tries to wedge through traffic and becomes the monkey in the middle. But my question is, why did the lead vehicle back up? Is this fake, or deliberate sabotage?

Expensive Scrape: Bentley and Maybach Tangle in Moscow!
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
Look, I know that there are a lot of rich people in the world. And I know that while they’re hardly common, the Bentley Continental and the Maybach 62 are produced in numbers, and that the distribution of wealth is such that these two uber-rides are going to wind up in close proximity. But what are the chances these two cars would actually hit? Only in Russia…

In Russia, Vehicle Amphibious… Oh, Forget It.
By John Coyle
Deputy Editor
As you can imagine, CarDomain HQ is absolute temple of professionalism. Just kidding. We go through HR people faster than we do coffee filters. And some of the juvenile jokes we like best are the In Russia, Noun Verbs You variety. But I couldn’t think of anything funny to say about the Aton Impulse VIKING. Now, it’s not like I’ve never seen an amphibious vehicle before, but I’ve never seen one where the tires act as pontoons and actually propel it! How sick does it look to see all four wheels churning water? Even the Xterra-on-steroids styling is awesome. In the States, I can see this being used as an off-road toy, but if you’ve ever seen a Russian road, you can bet there will be a robust market for it domestically.

Russian Supercar Named Revolt, Not Actually Revolting
By John Coyle
Editor
When I think about Russia, the first things which pop into my mind are vodka, AK-47s and loose nukes, so E-Go’s Revolt concept caught me by surprise. While the car will be based off an old Mitsubishi platform—Jalopnik thinks it will be the 3000GT—and only sport six cylinders, it will allegedly produce a very respectable 550 horsepower, and the lines are pretty good. Obviously, there’s no guarantee this baby will ever be produced, but regardless, the Revolt looks a lot better than the Lada supercar concept which debuted in Paris. More pics after the jump—including one where they didn’t get the whole car in the shot.

Random Russian Wreck: Bentley In The Middle Of A Field
By Jen Dunnaway

This one turned up over on English Russia, unaccompanied by any comprehensible explanation. What do you suppose happened? Mafia hit? Trust fund baby goes four-wheeling? More pics after the jump.

Russian Sauna on Wheels
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
This inventor in Russia has converted his GAZ-66 military truck into a fully functional mobile sauna, complete with an 88-gallon tank and a wood-burning stove to produce the steam. A sweat session in the back of the GAZ will set you back about 40 bucks and change. Pics of the interior below the jump, but only if you can stand to see a bunch of pale shirtless dudes beating each other with birch leaves.

West Coast Customs Opens Dubai Franchise!
By Sean
Editor
While West Coast Customs has two hit TV shows, a record label, and a line of audio gear, it’s their insane work which really sets them apart. Of course, with the kind of success they’ve achieved, it was only a matter of time before they went worldwideand that time is now. There’s already a franchise in Malaysia, and in 2008 they expect to open shops in Germany, Australia, and Russia. Perhaps most spectacularly, WCC recently held the grand opening for a location in Dubai. The crew over at our sister blog, SoundDomain, has pics of this facilitythanks Chad!and it looks insane. Since money is essentially no object in that Middle Eastern playground, the shop is located in a part of town we’d compare to Rodeo Drive, and the walls and floors are covered in marble and travertine! No joke! Hop over to the SoundDomain blog to see more pics!

Only in Russia: Counterfeit Gas Stations!
By John
Community Editor
So if I needed more confirmation that Russia is some kind of Bizarro Superman type place where normal rules don’t apply, I just got it. Now, you can find counterfeit purses, wallets and sunglasses in most every city, but where else on the planet can you find entire counterfeit gas stations? English Russia, I love you! Keep up the good work!
