What Did You Do This Weekend?

While Rob and the rest of the CarDomain staff were moving offices this weekend, I shot down to Los Angeles for the smart Center Beverly Hills one year anniversary. The event was a blast and there were about 90 or so cars. We drove some of the best roads in SoCal and ended the event at the Petersen Museum with a short banquet and raffle–more pics below the jump!

What's Up With These Winter Cars?

Growing up in Washington, it’s not uncommon for a car enthusiast to have a winter car–but I’m beginning to see an unsettling trend. It started with the dirty GT-R that Weston spotted here in Seattle. Next was the winter-rat GT-R spotted in Massachusetts. Well, this Seattlelite has stepped up his game in a major way: how about a Ferrari F430 Scuderia!

My Night With The 300C SRT-8

I’m used to ignoring 300Cs when I see them at the stoplight and in every parking lot, but after Chrysler tossed us the keys to their 300c SRT-8 I now find myself scoping every 300C out there.
Like always Rob was nice enough to set me up on a date date with the press car, and I was lucky enough to keep her overnight. Overall I was incredibly impressed with this machine, and when it came down to writing about her, I couldn’t come up with one thing to right about so instead, here is pictorial. Quick Spin in the Lancer GTS

Yesterday Rob handed over the keys to the Mitsubishi Lancer GTS and said, “You’ve got 15 minutes go drive it.” With the small allotment of time, I was pretty much pinned to the South Lake Union area, so I figured I would hit my normal chicane up to 99, blast across the bridge and dip back through Fremont.

Change Your Wallpaper at CarDomain and Everyone Goes Crazy

I thought it was time for a new desktop wallpaper so I decided to toss up the Weismann GT. I found the car by surfing a wallpaper site a while back and it was one of those cars that makes you immediately right click and Save As. Anyways the second I swapped it out both Rob and Weston started going crazy. So tell, do you love it or hate it?

The Right Fit

Before I picked up the smart I was very interested in the Honda Fit and I had to spend a lot of time convincing myself to hold out for the fortwo. GiniroNoOni Tweeted His Ride at Twitter

Riding Low 101

So last week I told you guys about stretching tires. We received some positive feedback and noticed some new rides with stretched tires. Even Rob sent the Satellite over to Discount Tire for some stretched shoes.
Well now that you have your tires stretched the next logical thing is to drop your ride to the ground and start riding low. All jokes aside, check out this V12 Benz to see what I’m talking about.
