Suzuki Submarine

By Brian Lohnes

BangShift.com

The Suzuki Samurai was a much maligned little 4×4 back when Consumer Reports got one to “roll” on its test course. Turns out that the little bastards are great off-road trucks with the proper modifications. Some dudes in Australia found that a Sami can also act as a submarine. “How low can you go?” takes on a whole new meaning here.

Bad-Ass Little Samurai Tears Up the Dirt

By John Coyle

Deputy Editor

One of my favorite pieces of motorcycle advice has always been “keep it shiny side up.” And while it’s not really related to the clip of this bad-ass little Suzuki tearing up the dirt, it totally popped into my head when I was watching it. How cool is it when it recovers from being on its side?

Snorkeling Samurai

By Jen

Can you guess what happens when this little 4wd goes for a dive? That shows what an intake snorkel is capable of, though you’d better hope your engine’s watertight everywhere else as well! All it’d take would be one stall to turn your ride into someone’s new boat-anchor.

Flight of the Redneck!

By John

Editor

I’ve watched this video like ten times, and I still can’t believe how perfectly the jump went. With all the aggravating factors—beer, trees, stupidity—I was positive this stunt would end badly, but I guess stuff just clicks sometimes. I think the most amazing thing is that the little Samurai survives this insane punishment. Seriously, it was pretty impressive seeing it move under its own power post-flight—those little guys must be tough! Oh, and just as a warning, I use [Expletive Deleted] like it’s my first [Expletive Deleted] name, and even I found the camera man’s swearing a little gratuitous. Enjoy.
