Yep, that’s right! This weekend I am rolling with another one of Chrysler’s big guns–this time, a Jeep Cherokee SRT-8. And let me say that right out of the box, this is one fast 4X4. Tune in early next week for a full review!

Challenger SRT-8: The R/Ts Big Brother.
By Mike Musto
RideLust.com
These past two weekends have been pretty damn good. You see, last weekend I was given a 2009 Challenger R/T to review, and this weekend I got hold of its bigger, burlier brother, the SRT-8. If you read my review on the R/T you’ll know that I loved that car. It’s a big, brash, in-your-face kinda ride that is simply a riot to drive. The ride, interior room and sheer presence of the car garners looks and respect and makes one feel like they’re 18 again. I did however have a few little gripes about the R/T and even made some comments that I (dare I say it) must retract…
The main differences between the R/T and SRT are the brakes, the suspension, and of course the SRT’s 6.1L HEMI that pumps out 425 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft of torque–that’s 50 hp more than the R/T. Now, is the extra muscle, bigger binders, and ride worth the extra coin? Well… yes and no. And let me tell you why.

Chrysler 300C SRT-8: the Best One Night Stand
Weston Henderson
Well folks, let me start with a question. Who understands what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a car? I do!
I had the distinct pleasure of test driving possibly one of the last high performance Chryslers to be developed, and the experience did not disappoint. Speaking to the American consumer, let me say this: America can make quality cars and the Chrysler 300c SRT-8 is proof of that. I only had one night with this sweet girl, but it’s going down as one of the best nights I’ve had with a car. Every time I got out of the car I swear I heard it whisper, “Was it as good for you as it was for me?”
Now that you understand that I basically had a love affair with the 300C, let’s start with the review, shall we?

"Slightly Damaged" Challenger SRT8 With 29 Miles on eBay
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Hmmm, wonder how this happened. Think it was a test drive gone terribly wrong, or did someone back into it? The whole thing seems a bit fishy. If it only costs $2,300 to $2,800 to repair as the dealer claims, why don’t they do it themselves? If it has a salvage title, why isn’t it being auctioned off from the insurance pool? From the pics it looks like rocker panel is bent along with the damage to the door and both quarters. Think it’s worth $25,900 with a salvage title and no warranty? Via eBay

Dodge Challenger SRT8 Convertible Coming to SEMA
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Dodge may have canceled their plans to build a Challenger convertible, but you can’t stop the aftermarket. Coach Builders Ltd. will chop the top off the new Challenger for $16,000. The topless Mopar is reinforced via strut bars hidden inside the trunk, and includes an acrylic polyester cloth hydraulic top, matching fabric headliner and a heated glass rear window. The green SRT8 they are bringing to SEMA also sports a Vortech supercharger, a KW coil-over suspension kit and 22-inch Foose Challenger wheels. More pics after the jump. Via TopSpeed.com

CarDomain Member Gets His SRT Challenger!
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
CarDomain member Greg has been tracking the progress of his new Challenger SRT-8 across the country from its factory in Canada, and on the 28th, the car arrived on schedule at a Dodge dealership in Texas! Greg flew out from his home in Arizona to spend the weekend with the car and finalize the paperwork. Looks like he got some seat time in, and did a lot of standing and looking. This hot ride is everything he hoped it would be, and from here it’s going to be hauled from Texas to Arizona in a closed trailer. Greg will be taking final delivery on the Fourth of July. Congratulations, man!

Team Jeep Takes Second: SRT-8 Proves Burliness!
By John Coyle
Editor
Finishing second in any stage of the Bullrun is an impressive feat, so Team Jeep should definitely be congratulated for that achievement. But you know who else should be congratulated? The engineers over at Jeep! Earlier today, Jeb and Angela’s buddy Kiran took their rally-mobile to an indicated 153—and that’s with four passengers and a full load of luggage. Now, I knew the thing was fast, but 153? Wow. Glad they didn’t get popped for that one.
