Jacked Morris Minor Woody
By Jen Dunnaway

It’s built on a modified Suzuki Samurai chassis, and it’s running a V6 from a Chevy S-10. This would be like if you had the power of your 4wd Blazer with a tiny wheelbase and only about 1300 lbs curb weight. Now that has to be fun! Check out the eBay auction.

Three Different Classics on the SEMA Floor
By Jim Brennan
UDMan
I always go crazy for some prime vintage collectible cars, and us much as modification is at a premium here at SEMA, there’s no shortage of restored-to-stock showpieces. Here are three more prime candidates for my garage when I hit the 10-million-dollar jackpot here at Vegas.

Fireball Discovers Wood
By Fireball Tim

Crusin’ up PCH in LA is always a kick. You get to see the coolest cars on the planet, basically all in one place. Old, new, short, fat, fast, slow, pinched, ported. Whatever is possible with a car, you’re gonna see it here. AND, see them get ticketed. (Poor things)
So, as with most weekends, I jumped in my jalopy and headed up into town. And what did I see, but a hellish amount of Woodies appearing before me. They were all dressed in chrome, colored flames and wood, eager to head beachside, and be up to no good. When all of a sudden, my camera snapped forth, and shutter’d away shots so as not to be bored…th. (Lame)
I salivatory glands were working too hard, trying to keep up with my filling camera card… when to my dissapoint, my wife yelled a flux, “Stop taking pix, you dork, and let’s get to Starbucks!”
So… we did. Cool Woodies though, eh?

Plymouth Woody
By Dan Strohl
Hemmings
We never know what we’ll see in the Hemmings parking lot, and one recent morning was no exception. Josh Recave of Falmouth, Massachusetts, stopped by on his way to a woodie gathering in Waterloo, New York, hauling his Campbell-bodied 1942 Plymouth Deluxe woodie station wagon. Josh knows it’s a rather rare bird, and he said he’d like to finish the restoration some day (the wood was redone in 1992), but we think it’s great, Driveable Dream material as is. In fact, we may just shoot it for HCC, so keep your eyes peeled there for more of the woodie. More pics at Hemmings
