Golf Cart With Yamaha R1 Motor!
By John Coyle
Editor
Now, I don’t know what the guys at Nevarez Racing Products were thinking when they decided to mount a burly motorbike engine to a golf cart—and I don’t really care! But the result is a machine with 125 horsepower at the wheels, and it looks like a total blast to drive. Check out this clip of it in action!

Half Motorcycle, Half Robot Concept Looks Sick
By John Coyle
Editor
Most of the time, I think vehicles with three wheels are lame. But design student Jake Loniak’s Deus Ex Machina Concept is cool enough to make me look beyond that. While I still don’t think it should be called a motorcycle—after all, motorcycles have two wheels—I love the whole robot thing that’s happening here. Sure, the stance looks sketch, and the incorporated helmet looks like an awesome way to receive a spinal cord injury, but nothing is perfect. Maybe I’m just willing to overlook those shortcomings because I’d love to own a motorcycle that transforms into a robot, and this is the closest thing I’ve seen.

New Ducati 1098R: So Awesome it Hurts
By John
Editor
Suzuki’s GXR1000 and Yamaha’s R1 are incredible machines, and both pack more power than virtually anyone can handlebut there’s nothing like a Ducati. The company is calling the new 1098R the "most advanced, most powerful twin-cylinder motorcycle ever built," and they aren’t joking. With a weight of 364lbs and 180 horsepower engine, the bike is mind-numbingly powerful, but it’s the laundry list of MotoGP partseight-stage traction control, digital dash, independent ride height adjustment mechanismwhich really make it sing. This baby was born to win races, and if Ducati’s recent success in Qatar is any indication, it’s going to deliver in a big way. Get all the details over at Gizmag.

Paper Dragons: Make Origami Yamahas!
By John
Editor
If you’re one of the readers who checks the CarDomain blog because you’re bored on the job, this site looks like a great tactile time-waster. Think about it: any one of these Paper Craft Yamahas would look dope on your desk, and since most workplaces offer plentiful access to paper, it seems like a perfect thing to do when the boss isn’t looking. If you’re really lucky, you can even use a color printer! The plans look pretty simple, so regardless of whether you’re more used to rolling paper than folding it, your dream bike should come out looking sharp. If you make one, upload a photo to your ride page. I’ll give the person who does the best job in the next seven days some CarDomain swag! Have funand don’t get caught!
